Bio:

Urdnot Drax was born in the solar year 1965 under the star-sign of the hammer, an omen that his clan’s shaman considered greatly fortuitous. As he was bred from superb stock (his mother and father were descendants of Moro and Shiagur, respectively), Drax was expected to excel in his service to Clan Urdnot. Nothing less would be acceptable.

Fortunately, the young krogan proved to be more than up to the task, scoring his first kill (a klixen during a hunting expedition) at the relatively young age of twenty and gaining the praise of his teachers for the adroitness with which he learned the ways of combat. Drax underwent his rite of adulthood at sixty-one and successfully survived for five minutes against the thresher maw, marking his passage from a youth to a man by Urdnot law. Shortly afterward, he was sent offworld to assist in an assault against a rival krogan clan; his performance in the subsequent campaign won enough praise that, upon his return to Tuchanka, he was extended an offer to serve in the krannt of Urdnot Wreav, the great battlemaster. Drax accepted and spent the next century training and studying in hopes that he, too, would someday be a worthy symbol of Clan Urdnot’s strength.

When Urdnot Wrex returned to Tuchanka, spreading tales of invasions to come and calling for a unification of the krogan tribes, Drax dutifully followed his battlemaster’s decision to support the elder krogan. Although the conflict was protracted and bloody, Wrex proved to be both a superior tactician and a charismatic politician, and Clan Urdnot eventually became dominant over a unified Tuchanka. The remaining tribes fell in line, and the krogan had once again become a sovereign power, if a somewhat fractured and shakily-supported one.

Although a major victory had been won, Wrex knew that more had to be done if his goals for the krogan race were to be realized. He began looking for operatives: for proven-reliable krogan who could do the jobs he needed done, certainly, but also for young, promising pups, eager to use their talents in the service of his patriotic vision. As it turned out, one of these young lions was Urdnot Drax, who had been recommended to Wrex by his brother. Drax was summoned to the Clan Chief’s throne at the center of Tuchanka, and given a special-and very unusual-assignment…
